Onamia, MN - March 29
 

Grand Casino- Mille Lacs (Onamia, MN) is starting to advertise the March 29 concerts. Heard a radio ad on 50,000 watt WCCO-AM (830) today. Played short clips from the "Edmund Fitzgerald", Carefree Highway, If You Could Read My Mind, and Sundown.

I checked Ticketmaster and you can't buy a ticket for either show. Don't know why they are advertisting after a sell-out ??

The great news is that the shows are apparently sell-outs. The even-better news is that promoters will likely try and get Gord back sometime again. He has always been popular in MN and I'm sure he will be pleased by another packed house.

I have another item for my Gordon Lightfoot "Bucket List." I have already been to Toronto's Massey Hall three straight nights (2001). Multiple states over 30 years. 3 straight nights of Minnesota concerts (Sept. 2007).

Now my next one is Onamia MN, Appleton, WI, and Des Moines, IA (2008) !!

Hope I can add another item in 2009. :>)

I'll be there as well and looking forward to seeing you again. I assume you'll catch both shows....yeah', dumb question...:biggrin:

I'm going with my friend Shelley, she's flying in from Pittsburgh for that weekend. Are you going to stay overnight at the Hotel?
