This is the first I see this, great find Char. And yes the young Lightfoot is very amazing in many ways... I watched it again, the audio is great. I like the cool Pierre Trudeau haircut, and the guy can sing. He gives me goose bumps on my goose bumps. {lol} And the great guitar technique of Red Shea :)

I would gaze over at Red Shea just as lovingly as Gord does at the end of that if Red was playing lead guitar on my songs! Not that there is anything wrong with it !!:). Quite a performance indeed Charzo!

And tell me, why? WHY??? Why isn't that song in the current "rotation"? It's been way too long and it's too good a song. I think it fits the character of the older Lightfoot and should be included in the 2008 tour.

That's from Music Scene (Volume 2). You can actually buy it. (Sorry, but even as a consumer, I can't imagine that there will be CDs or DVDs in the future if nobody buys them. But, I digress). Anyhow, the DVD, of a TV program, has 2 Lightfoot performances, Saturday Clothes and For Lovin' Me. Even with only the two Lightfoot songs, it's a video I wanted for my collection. (I remember it playing on the "bus" we hired for the Lighthead trip to Niagara Falls in ... uh, 2001?). There's more about the DVD at my web site here: Lightfoot on DVD

I appreciate the Amazon links and I'll definately consider purchasing the "Music Scene Vol 2" DVD. But $ are in short supply these days (hehe) so I might have to put it off for a while.
