Hey Gang:
I just thought I'd drop all of a short note.I just bought Sunday Concert and the
United Artists collection.Theres not a bad one in the bunch on the Sunday Concert album.
I haven't finished listening to the entire U.A. collection yet.


Opps-Gotta run! A big chunk of plaster just came down from my living room ceiling!

Funny thing is, I just got Sunday Concert myself, and as we speak I am on my second time through. "...Boss Man Boss Man what do you say?..." Classic Lightfoot, very folksy. Great sound, for a live albumn. I love it! Next purchase: Endless Wire.

Rose was nice enough to give me Sunday Concert Plus 2 weeks ago. :) I've had UA Coll. since 2003 and the orig. Sunday Concert since 2002 (both Cd 7 vinyl. ;)

Ok,I've finished listening to the U.A.collection.A great bunch of music! There was only 1 that I didn't really care for-"A Minor Ballad". My 3 favorites off the U.A. collection are(in no particular order)Rich Mans Spirital,Go-Go Round,and Walls.

B.T.W.-no one got hurt when the plaster fell. Just made a mess.

The UA LP's are the Lightfoot albums I ever owned, and therefore, I "cut my Lightfoot teeth" on all of those songs :headbang: ! When I play them, it takes me right back to 1972-73, when I played them over & over again endlessly (I went through SO MANY record player needles!)
My favorite songs were: "For Lovin' Me", I'm Not Sayin'", "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" (of course!), "Walls", "Softly", "The Last Time I Saw Her", "Affair on 8th Avenue", "The Circle is Small", "If I Could"... These are ALL still among my favorite Lightfoot songs, and I miss hearing them in concert!!

On the UA album I really like "Walls" and "Did she mention my name" which is one of my all time favourites. The Sunday concert plus CD is one of my son's favourites. He is really into "Spin, spin". :)
