If you read this, have you ever heard of this great singer Kris Shred ? I believe he's German that's why I ask ??

He sure can sing Early 'Morning Rain,' Good...:)

And if you go to his MySpace great songs there as well.

What does Luft mean in English ? My guess is {RED} 99 Luft Ballons... Another great song & artist; Nena...

This was one of my fav songs of the 80's. :)

I thought this might be a good thread to add that the Kinsgton Trio's 'Final Concert' cd contains a beautiful cover of 'Early Morning Rain'. It is really a great cd.

Thats one fantastic song.

These two videos have the song done with all those extra minor chords in it. Makes the song sound quite different than the way Gord does it. I heard the song first done by Elvis or Peter Paul and Mary and that was the minor infested versions ...i loved it. When I finally heard the way Gord does it..I was shocked ..but loved it just the same.
