I brought a friend with to the Milwaukee concert, and we had backstage passes. She had nothing to get signed, so I gave her one of these postcards, and Gordon signed it for her. She now has it framed on her desk. :)

Hi Moosedog, I was in Halifax the past week. Just landed back in N.B. about 2 hours ago. Great gesture on your part w/ the Gord Postcard for your friend, must look very nice on her desk.

I have all 4 of these postcards, but can't get myself to send them to anyone, especially the Gord's Gold one. It is simply too beautiful to send it.:biggrin: :)

The only way to top that evening would have been to meet Gord and the band, as did Tim and his family. That would, indeed, be awesome!
From the moment the band starts coming out... the anticipated first glance of Gord coming on stage... sit back and take it all in! Then take the next two weeks coming down from that Lightfoot high!
He performed a number of my favorites: Restless, Waiting for You, Ring them Bells ( a bit of a surprize!).
River of Light and Whispers of the North would have been the ultimate... at least for me.

I totally agree the the postcard is really nice looking. I called Canada when they first came out and ordered quite a few. I got stamps too. Kind of silly because I can't even use them. All though it has been fun to share people who did not get any of these treasures.
