Anyone got the setlist (or review) from last night's Denver show?
Going to the show tonight in Boulder; just wondering if he played Triangle last night. If he did, then we probably won't hear it tonight...

Sorry seahawk11, I did not get the set list. I can tell you he did not play Triangle. Maybe tonight. Any chance we can say hello before the concert? What are your plans?

I think we are going to get into the park fairly early, to get a parking spot and a place at the restaurant...I remember we got there fairly late the last time Gord was here and it was impossible to get any food or drink...

Checked the websites of both the Post and News. Doesn't look like anyone from either paper reviewed the Denver show.

I didn't go to the Denver show. But, I caught up with Tony and his wife, DSR, Linda and Andy. The show was wonderful, Gord in a good mood the band was tight. Both my favs were played - Hangdog Hotel Room and the Watchman's Gone. Triangle was played also. It was a great night, weather was co-operative, all the rest of the set list was the usual songs. He played Ring Them Bells and not a soul moved, the audience was mesmerized. I love to see that.
Stand Ovations, Gord was very welcome back to Colorado. Every show here has been sold out and the venue last night was packed, with people peering through the windows. sigh. |

Hi Brink!
Great to see you all again! Yep, I thought Gord did pretty good. And, this was the first time we got to hear CRT since about 2002. Did you guys think Terry was a little ornery that night? I couldn't figure it out, but did some of his solos seem really 'staccato-y'? I'm wondering if that dry air during the day, then that huge deluge of rain, caused the instrument to be a little out of intonation. Though the solos he did for Sundown were spot on...I dunno. I loved Rick's new bass line he does during Ring Them Bells. It really added a punch. Best, Tony |
