Has anyone heard from John Fowles lately. I haven't seen him here for a while and miss his posts. :)

Thank you Bill,

He probably posted that. Life has been a merry- go-round lately. I haven't had too much time to read. :)

I am deeply touched that I was missed
and am indeed now returned from a "holiday of lifetime" April 14-May 12
We ranged all over down under from the mild heat of the desert in Alice Springs to the cool and wet of NZ 's South Island Fjordland and included an interesting Melbourne dinner meeting with young Mende Joveski (catman)Ron and his wife Roz and newsgrouper Peter Treloar.
I write today to alert you to a new addition to my daily website checking routine
try:-
Giveaway of the day

Yes it's true folks
As their blurb says:-
Giveaway of the day - what's that?
"Well, that's a convenient initiative allowing you to get the best commercial software titles - for free. Every day we offer licensed software you'd have to buy otherwise, for free! Yes, we are giving away software, and you can download it from our site, right now and right here and our goal is to give away every good piece of software, sooner or later."
I'll try to remember to report on any especially good and useful offers
Can't be bad Eh??
