I've been expirementing with the DADGAD tuning and found out that there are all kinds of possibilities to come up with different versions of tunes using this unique method. My latest venture was tuning my Gibson B45 (#2) 12 string that way and It's amazing the sound it produces. I've worked out a version of "Sea of Tranquility" simply be searching for the individual notes as I'm not too familiar just yet with the correct chord positions in that tuning. The powerful instrumental chorus in that tune just came to me like a gift. On the six string, "Ode to Big Blue" works quite effectively as well. Sure is a great way to have fun. Cheers, Ron J.

Yep......have you ever chimed in with your opinion of the "capo issue".

I've only recently started experimenting with it, trying to 'layer' some material I'm working on. It really does add a new 'color'. Indeed, it is fun.
