I really think it is better to be a "nice guy" than someone not so nice. I do understand what you mean. :) Nice guys really finish first. Just stay the wonderful person you are and I know you will always land on your feet. :D

Well,the only time I am ugly inside is when someone makes me soooooo angry I just can't keep my cool any longer.

I must be Rose,because recently I received a message on my "My Space" inbox from a *gasp!* 22 year old girl who said I was a "cutie".

That's a 1st for me,I was never even called that in school! She asked if I'd like to meet or get together (just a "casual" thing,nothing serious.)Her message also said to rate her.

Now tell me if I did the right thing here,I responded by saying first of all that rating someone by a number is risky,because if you don say 9 or 10 they get offended. So,I said,"Let me put it this way,if I were 22 I wouldn't have hesitated for a moment to meet you".

I also went on to say that while I'm flattered (big time!),being 38 I can't really look at someone that young and see things the same as I did then. She was born when I was 16 for heaven's sake.

Lastly,I told her that one day some guy (her age) will be lucky to have her in his life. I suggested it would still be okay to play message tag.

So,was I right,or should I have taken a chance? :confused:
