I rented this movie last night, and found it to be very good. Even though I knew what the ending would be - I got caught up and was anxious toward the end.
Only one "name" person in it. The air traffic controllers play themselves. Amazing how many people behind the scenes were affected. |
brink-,
I also would recommend it. I approached it with shaded eyes, afraid that it would be too emotionally draining, but found the focus to be on the chaos that surrounded the event, rather than on the passengers themselves. It's my understanding that the producers of the film previewed it with the relatives of those lost, and earned their approval. |
Deb, I am de-lurking to agree with you. An amazing film, extremely well produced. As you say, although we all know the ending, it was weird how I found myself praying they would get into the cockpit in time. A fine tribute to some of the heros of that horrendous day.
