Anyone here about his passing today. He was the original lead singer for Pink floyd when they first came about in 1967 and sung lead songs like Arnold Lane and See Emily Play.

Haven't a clue who he was nor could I name a Pink Floyd song....but sad that he has led such a tragic life...some reports say cancer..some say diabetes.

I thought it was ironic that you had posted about Pink Floyd videos on the main forum and then Sid has passed.

roger waters has a show tomorrow so it'll be interesting how he pays tribute. gilmour has been singing some of syd's songs recently, but roger seems to concentrate on dark side and onwards
