OK my critics will be relieved that I thought better of clogging up the general discussion forum with this by using it in a reply to the "Wolf Trap" topic at:-
http://www.corfid.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ul...c&f=1&t=003872 but I thought it might interest ELizabeth in particular. I did not make Lizbet up I thought it was the nickname from 70 years ago for the future Queen Elizabeth 2 but googling shows I was wrong as hers was "Lilibet. Whatever ELizabeth could use either then we would all know why her displayed name ELizabeth has a capital L as well as E!! Anyway out of curiosity I googled for "lizbet" and found this ""Lizbet" is awfully close, by the way, to "Lilibet," the pet name of none other than HRH Queen Elizabeth II." I also found someone claiming that name on myspace at:- http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...riendid=280700 http://myspace-369.vo.llnwd.net/0073...33894369_m.jpg that picture by the way is only shown (for unfathomable reasons) on the google "cached" version of the above linked page at:- http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache...s&ct=clnk&cd=9 where "she" says in her profile "lizbet, 23 years old, Female, Santa Fe, NEW MEXICO, US, twankle twankle" Hey I love the sound of that word "twankle" but alas I found by googling that according to the "urban dictionary" it is a rude euphonism or slang word that had previously passed me by!! Sir John, I still love Lizbet. My parents saw fit to call the girl infant 'muling and puking' in my Mother's arms 'Ba'. In spite of their hopes I have never written a line of poetry. The capital EL... was a typo but I decided to stick with it.
