I was watching the Cincinnati Reds vs. Pittsburg Pirates game last night when George Grant (One of the Reds TV Annnouncers) mentioned Gordon Lightfoot. He was talking about a Canadian Pitcher (grew up in Calgary) named Reitsma. The conversation led into national anthems and George mentioned that Gord was the last Canadian performer to sing the Star Spangled Banner that he could recall

I share this because it was nice to hear Gordon's name mentioned during a Reds game.
