I just got tickets to see GL on April 21. I am so excited. Most my life I have been into "Hard Rock", but Gordon always got to my soul,,, Now I have to decide who to take,,, I want to share it with someone who loves him like I do....

The Junos last night. Ile tell you, it's not as interesting as when they were in Toronto, in the 70's. I remember the 1978 Juno Awards w/ host David Steinberg, I have bits of it, on VHS, made from a Super 8mm camera I had. Before owning my first VCR in 1980. I would actually film Lightfoot on TV. It was not too bad.

And I still watch this one often, when David Clayton Thomas announced the folk signer of the year. It went like this, " And the winner is... and the winner is, Mr.Gordon Lightfoot. As he accepted it, he said," This I dont need." {laughing} Meaning he already had fifteen of them. :)
