I've always thought it kind of sad (or odd ?) that people who post here will realize that they were at the same concert, but after the fact. And therefore did not even get to say hello. I know many of the posters here are serious introverts, nothing wrong with that, and might be intimidated by saying 'hello' to a 'stranger'. But if you're up to it and will be at the show at Town Hall on Saturday here's where we'll be:

ROW D SEATS 104 & 106

So please stop by and say hello or post your location and we'll try and find you.

Peace be with you,

Bill :)

Oh and BTW I'm the old guy (52) with the USMC haircut, LOL.

I wish jbt and I could meet up with you on Saturday. Have a great time, and be sure to fill us in afterward.

Attention anyone who is going to the NYC show and is hesitant to say hi to Billw and his wife...DON'T BE! They are very friendly and so nice. It will enhance your concert experience to meet up with another big fan and possibly meet a new friend as a bonus. Have fun!

And if we are really unlucky a disgustingly garish Hawaiiian tee shirt!!
Seriously i'm with you Bill
if you know what another fan looks like fine. In our recent round of October concerts we have thus found an old chatroom friend Neil Robideaux and corfid poster David "Too Much To Lose"
plus ex-tribute band member Eric Greenberg
and a Newsgroup poster Jim Wehner who had quoted his Northampton seats which turned out to be directly behind ours. Lots more as you said we found out about after the event. For next year's shows therefore I propose to create a sinmple plain "corfid: badge probably the word "corfid" as large as possible in pale blue on a background of the same blue as Florian has used on this site such a badge could then be simply printed out and cut to size then pinned to one's person. If I can aqueeze in something like "The Internet Lightfoot group" this would enable other folk at the concert to know about the existence of this great forum. I'll do some basic artwork in due course and submit it here for everybody's consideration
John Fowles
He's playin' up in Michigan with a group they call The Intended

John, I think that's a great idea...especially for those of us who will be heading to Toronto for the first time next year, and feeling lost!

While this may be a bit more than was originally in mind I am wondering whether we could get a Corfid T-Shirt/Polo with smart design/ Gords Name/image? /web site address etc organised ?
It would both serve dual purposes as an identifier at concerts and maybe would act as an advertisement for the group (worldwide)...

Some of my harsher detractors would say it may generate negative publicity if I was seen wearing our site shirt.....

If not a shirt how about a bumper sticker ?

I know we have some talented people in here with graphic design skills?

See y'all tonight !
