Does anyone know when this was released. I know that it was back around 1966 when I used to play it on the juke box. I can only find it listed on the Sunday Afternoon Concert album which shows 1969. I know that the 45 was done back in 65-66. Please reply to this site if you know the history of the song other than Dylan wrote it and where I might find a copy.
Thanks, Wilbur Haney |

OK OK It just so happens that a current ebay auction is for the reissued Underground Records label 45 coupling "Spin Spin" and "JLTTB" http://i22.ebayimg.com/02/i/06/b0/18/4b_1.JPG one side shown on:- http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot...QQcmdZViewItem The seller in his blurb actually states:- "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues was Gordon's first United Artists single in 1965, with Ribbon Of Darkness on the flip side. Spin, Spin was the "B" of For Lovin' Me, which was his second United Artists single in 1966" I do not know if that is correct for a fact perhaps somebody else can confirm John Fowles |
