Should I bring my camera to tonight's show?
Thanks.
Jim

It depends more on the venue than the performer I believe. I don't remember if the Warner allows cameras or not. You can always bring it and not take it out if it's a problem.

Don't forget to take your camera Jenney!!
and don't forget to use it Jenney!
lol
and don't forget to send me the pics Jenney!

;)

And don't forget to be courteous and respect the concert-going experience of those around you who came to see and hear Gord and not your camera and its flashes and beeps.

Jenney 04-18-2007 02:38 PM

i don't tend to use my camera during the show at all. I'd rather enjoy the show than worry about taking pictures. I do pull it out for the last song though!
I've never had luck taking pictures during a show, so just enjoy other peoples pictures.
I still have one ticket left, but as Diane pointed out an empty seat next to me as a $50 coat rest is not necessarily bad. At least my coat won't drink to much or sing along!

charlene 04-18-2007 02:49 PM

or be rude and take pictures...
;)
Tell your coat to have a drink for me...

OK... I get it. I won't take any pictures. :-(

Maybe 2 or 3????

Maybe after the show of me with Gord... if by some miracle I bump into him. ;)

Gotta get ready for the show.

Jim

I'm sure our fearless leader would never be rude.

charlene 04-18-2007 03:53 PM

2 or 3 is good...save a few for the last song--then end of encore...and he comes back out to bow and cross the stage, waving at his adoring and wonderful fans!
THEN take some when you meet him and get someone to snap a couple of you together with him!
ta-da...then post them here!
Have a great time!
Let me know if he slips "I'll Tag Along" ..
;)

Took 3 pictures during ODR... all blurry. :-(

After I took the 3rd pic, an usher came by and scolded the people behind me for using a flash. Oops! ;)

brink 04-19-2007 10:34 AM

NO flash! lol The lights provide enough light. Did you get to meet him?

I'm no photographer, that's for sure. The flash goes on automatically. I don't even know how to turn it off. I'm a dope!

No I did not get to meet him. I have met him twice before - in '88 in Hyannis, I think, and in '94 in Springfield - but I have no photgraphic evidence. :-(

I'll share 'em... but, as I said, the 3 pics I took are blurry. I've only looked at them on the camera screen. Maybe they'll look better on the computer.

PS- "timetraveler"? Moodies' fan perhaps? Do I know you from a MB forum? My first ever concert was the Moody Blues in '78 and my second was Gord in '79. The only reason that my MB concerts outnumber my GL concerts by so much (33 to 20) is because the Moodies tour more extensively. In the last 10 years, however, I've seen Gord 5 times & the Moodies only twice.
