Actually if you watch the great CBC archived version of Gord's 1 January 1967 television debut of The Trilogy and closely studied the navvies in the background you might of thought that they were being played by the muppets. Every time they sing about "swinging their hammers" I could of sworn they were taking careful aim at each other!!! A great giggle for me at least
so yes that is a ditty that Gord could well have done with the Muppets

How very true I was only taking my grammatical/spelling lead from Mr Touhy himself you understand, but my love of the idiosyncratic English language made me put the correct "have" the third time I hope you noticed!
