Just had lunch with my Mom,her husband and my brother at about 1:30pm. Went to a nice Greek restaurant,we both gave her very heartfelt cards and very beautiful flowers. :)

Now of course,we're all full! :D

Hapy Mother's Day to all you Mommies!!! ;)

charlene 05-08-2005 09:04 PM

thanks!
I had a very nice day with my kids and mum and had Chinese food....even weeded the garden and washed some windows because the weather was great!!
the excitement damn near killed me!
lol

Thanks! I had my flowers, candy, and meal out last night with Gabe and the kids. Today was marketing and a trip to the E.R.!! Joshua (5) accidentally beaned Rachel (9) with a broom handle -- only needed 3 staples in her head! Just all in a Mom's day's work, right ladies?!!!
Happy Mother's Day!! LOL!!

charlene 05-09-2005 06:44 AM

yep - that's right Sheryl!
Fell asleep finally at 1:30 or so this morning and up at 4:45 to take Lisa to MRI clinic for 5:45....daycare kids are coming in 30 minutes....
can you spell N-A-P ???
lol
when is the next Mother's Day???
364 days from now!
;)

SilverHeels 05-09-2005 09:53 AM

and there was me bemoaning the fact that I was not a mother!
Good Luck to Lisa, Char.
(and wishing Joshua a quick recovery)

Sheryl 05-09-2005 11:29 AM

It was Rachel who got the beaning, but, thanks, Bru!! Oh, almost forgot... Joshua's in bed today... he seemed fine yesterday, late last night he climbed into our bed with a high fever. <sigh> Hey, Char!! When is the next Mother's Day??

GJA 05-09-2005 01:55 PM

My 16 year old has diabetes, and I'm up around 2:00 most nights checking her blood sugar level. I always thought that after I got the kids to sleep through the night when they were babies, that would be it for the 2:00 am wake-up calls! But, hey, that's motherhood, and i wouldn't have missed it for anything.
And Sheryl-when they were young, my brother hit my sister with a frozen steak-and broke her arm!!

Sheryl 05-10-2005 04:57 PM

I told Rachel as I was wiping the blood from her face that now we have matching scars -- I have one in the same location that my brother gave me when he picked up the trash bag and whacked me over the head with it at the same age!! I think it made her feel better, hahaha!
