I am so excited. I am down to one month and one day until I see Gordon again. Since I have read he looks much better than he did a few months ago (I thought he look pretty fine then) when I saw him I am really happy he is doing better. :)

Anyone wanting to try to me before the concert, please let me know. Either through this board or P.M. :D

Kerstin, no need for you to respond!

Dream Street Rose,

I hope you have a wonderful, memorable time. Just saw him in concert two weeks ago, and I thought he was in top form. Looked fit and the voice was great. He seemed relaxed and genuinely seemed to be having a good time.

Have fun!

Dream Street Rose 05-24-2007 01:35 PM

Hello Irish and welcome,

Thank you for the good news. I will be seeing him 3 nights in a row. My very favorite way to be on a natural high.

Dream Street Rose 05-25-2007 01:37 AM

Thanks blair,

I have been going to Lightfoot concerts for over 30 years. I have already seen him 4 times this year and will be at all three shows in Texas. We plan to see at least two of the Colorado concerts and then two or three in September.

I am so glad you got to see Gordon and his orchestra. Yes, I know what an awesome experience it is. :D

I'm assuming you will be at the Kansas City show.
My family of 5 will be at the show that night also.

Post back and maybe we can talk before the show.

Dream Street Rose 05-25-2007 01:10 PM

No Kelly,

Not Kansas City this time. I will be in Texas, Denver and hopefully Tennessee and Kentucky. I never know. I travel with my husband and a wonderful friend of ours named Kerstin. Between Kerstin and us some of the time it is hard to coordinate the schedule for travel. :)

I am alway hopeful and try not to get disappointed if something comes up and we can't go.

I hope you have a great weekend. :) :)

enjoy all the shows and report back about each and every one!

Hi Dream Street Rose, You've gone to so many concerts of his!? Wow, you lucky duck. I only went to one and I had a happy time at first and then it was turned too sad. Too sad to leave. I still have these blue heart earrings that I wore to the concret and I'm even afraid to wear them. I tried wearing them about 3 or 4 times and the day started out fine and turned out too sad. (I should probably throw the earrings away, but I've been keeping them as some sort of a memory). Anyway, I don't know if I should ever try to go to a concert of his again. I'd kind of like to, but I don't know.

I feel your excitement Rose,I'm sure it's similar to what I felt before the Mariah Carey concert.

I was excited about Gord's show too but not in the same manner. ;)

Dream Street Rose 05-27-2007 01:45 AM

Hi Patti,

I used to feel sad too. That is why I have been to so many concerts. Please don't cheat yourself out of seeing and hearing Gordon and his orchestra. :) I don't know where you live but I bet you will be glad you saw him again if you get the chance.

Patti 05-30-2007 08:26 PM

Hi. It would probably be a miracle if I saw him again.

Dream Street Rose 05-30-2007 08:33 PM

Patti,

If it's not to personal why would it be a miracle if you saw him again? :)

Patti 06-04-2007 07:03 PM

Well, it is a little personal. I don't really know what to say.

Patti 06-04-2007 07:04 PM

:)

Dream Street Rose 06-04-2007 08:04 PM

Hi Patti,

I totally understand. Send me a Private Message if you every want to. I enjoy being a part of this group. Everyone is so nice. :)

Remember to be good to your self. :)

....A Message for Patti.......

Don’t shut a door because of a fear
that something good will come to an end.
Because if you do then you’ve built your own trap
and leave nothing standing to defend.

Keep the blue heart earrings in a special place
and tuck those memories (for now) away;
for someday the pain you now feel will recede
- and only the good will stay.

Patti 06-15-2007 10:49 PM

Thank you so much Bard'sFan. That was thoughtful and you made my day. (I hadn't been on-line for a couple of weeks.) Best wishes to you too.
Thanks for passing along some encourgement.

Re: One month and counting.

Only about 7 more hours to go before my ears are smiling hearing Gordon sing. It rained here most of the day and into the night yesterday. It looks better today. Ken and I bought a tarp. We can sit on it or if it rains we can stand under it.

I am looking forward to meeting Colorado Sue.

I know it will be a wonderful concert, I will report back sometime tomorrow.

I am slow and haven't figured out how to get a smiley face on here so I will do it this way. :)
