First time poster here -- lurked for years. We had the privilege of seeing the Big Flats concert 7/29/06. It was our 4th GL concert, 1981, 1988 and 2001 being previous dates. I thought he had some problems with his upper range, and didn't sound as strong as he has in the past. He was also quieter than I remember him being in previous performances. Did I enjoy it any less? No way, his music, his lyrics are timeless and despite a one hour downpour mid-concert (outdoor venue), I was very glad I spent the money to see him again. It amazes me that songs that he wrote almost 40 years ago can seem so fresh today. He is amazing.

I almost went to this concert but passed up a ticket in row N center because of the rain which was forecasted. Only a 4 hr drive from my house I should've braved it.
