I have been anything but prompt in doing this, but nonetheless, I'll share a few details regarding gord's conert in Fresno on Tuesday.
Gord started the first set wearing a dark blue Hawaiian shirt and black jeans. The songs her performed are as follows:

Waiting for You (On this one, Gord kept walking to his extreme left on the stage; Terry and Rick found this to be hysterically funny. Afterwards, Gord said, "I did a little choreography on that one.")

Don Quixote (Some idiot in the audience with an impaired or nonexistent sense of rhythm insisted on clapping along on this one. He (or she) mercifully stopped before Gord had to give any kind of a look. Maybe the Straw Boss gave the person a glare. Gord blocked my view of him.)
Restless
Blackberry Wine (This was my husband's favorite of the evening. He's been to other Lightfoot concerts, but found this one too be a tad mellow for his tastes; he said that he wished Gord had "rocked out" a bit more. For the record, I thought it was just fine the way it was.)

Cold on the Shoulder (returned to acknowledge another standing ovation, but didn't perform another encore)

I forgot to note where the band intros occurred, but they were a little earlier than usual -- somewhere in the first set, perhaps after "Baby Step Back." One thing very trivial but mildly interesting was that
Gord introduced Terry, Barry, Mike, then introduced Rick last. Each other time I've seen him in concert, he just introduced them in the order in which they were sitting, with Mike last. Rick seemed to get the loudest applause, with people hollering out his name, as also seemed to be the case in Bakersfield last fall. Perhaps he had has friends in the San Joaquin Valley, or perhaps they like him because he looks like one of them.

Gord talked about his career being different than that of a professional hockey or baseball player, because when they get old they have to retire. He also chatted about Elvis a bit.

The band was in fine form. They seemed to be happy enough. Terry's playing for the entire evening was gorgeous.

I can hardly wait to go to another concert, but it probably won't happen anytime soon.
