Are you going Char? If you bought 500 tickets you might be all alone with a performance. ;)

i do wish I could go..i am a regular contributer to Sick Kids and the specialist that my daughter is seeing is a doctor there and at Toronto General Hospital up the street on University Ave..
I spent a lot of time there back in the fall of 1980....and the young fellow who survived his illness is now a doctor as he promised, 39 years old and has just had another miracle in his life...a son born a couple of months ago....a child he never expected to have after all of his treatments as a young teen.
Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital is amazing and for Lightfoot to help this way is fabulous.

a large pullout section about the hospital is in todays STAR but no mention of the Savoy event.

It was Lisa who heard about this event as she listened to the radio while having a soak in the tub!
She came downstairs with this tidbit and was like the cat that swallowed the canary...she knew something about Lightfoot that I didn't!
lol
