There are too many favorites of GL to list, but thought all you GL fans would appreciate the fact of someone else who has done many GL songs in fact has done a whole CD with nothing but GL songs. They are very well done and unique and very different style than gordy himself. They are done a bit faster and in bluegrass version with mandoline, fiddle added to the guitar. So i highly recommend getting the CD entitled "Tony Rice Plays and sings Gordon Lightfoot" . You will all thank me if you dont already have it. Enjoy.

I agree wholeheartedly about Tony Rice. The things he pulls out of a Lightfoot tune never ceases to amaze me!

Sadly, he has had major problems with his voice and is not singing the last I knew. His last album "Unit of Measure" was all instrumental. But I highly recommend it!
