an alert Newsgroupoer has found
http://www.topix.net/forum/who/gordo...HGOEAE9529ANA8
which is a thread entitled "Lightfoot has stroke in Harris, MI?"
of so far 10 postings including one each by a John and a Louise
the only difference and/or additions I could spot to what has been reported here is this that
Jen wrote
"According to what we were told that night, he was taken to the hospital in Escanaba, MI and was OK. The show Saturday was supposed to go on but was canceled because of structural problems with the stage area"
and Lynn added
"He said that he had had an MRI done, and had been in and out of hospitals the last two days. He did his best, always kept his sense of humor, and told the audience he would keep with the music as long as his body would let him"
and Rossport said
"He told us that he had an MRI enroute and that he told the Doc not to give him any advice because he was going to perform until he dropped!"
the main GL section obviously starts at:-

which reveals a grand total of 6 threads I replied to one telling Shari:-:
"In case you do not know there is vastly more fan activity on the "corfid" Discussion Forum, go to

I had forgotten about that! During the Whitewater show, Gordon told the story about the Harris, MI cancellation. The performances were apparently in an outdoor tent. Gordon said while they were struggling to figure out how to pull off a performance with his issues regarding his right hand, they found out "the tent broke". Then he smiled and said "so we got paid anyway", and everyone laughed.
