I work that day but hopefully,it's a morning shift so I can be off by the evening. :)

I don't remeber when I first heard "Wreck" exactly but I know it was on a "light rock" station in the early '80s. So,I'd say about 23 years for me.

Knowing it was an actual event didn't happen until 1989,when it was mentioned in my 1st "Billboard Book Of Top 40 Hits". (4th edition,now up to edition 7.) :)

Time knos know end to the sadness oflosing loved one's. Although the pain is less as time goes by,my best to "the wives,the sons and the daughters" and their offspring as well. :)
