I just watched the Live in Reno DVD. Great show. I was taken aback, though. at how thin and aged Gordon looked. Is he ill?

No he isn't ill - he's thin but he's very fit and energetic for someone 63 1/2!
He's doing great!

Glad that he's ok. I hadn't seen a picture of him in some time. Fit and energetic he is, and he still sings great. Gonna go buy that DVD. Thanks for replying.

While he looks very drawn in the face, take a look at the eyes. If he was gaunt from illness, his eyes would look sunken. They seem sharp as ever. Also, check out his upper back and arms. He's still got a lot of strength in there and his fingering on the guitar neck is really firm. There's a tendency for aging guitarists to back off on the guitar work when feeling the effects of illness or arthritis, but he's still plugging away. Gord looks like a veteran farmer whose been pitching hay bales all day, every day. (Sorry if I got any of you girls going again.)
