I was wondering if anyone heer knows how to play that little bass fill after every verse in If I Could. You know, for example "to take you away from me" - then the guitar strums a few Bsus4 chords - then comes that little fill that I'm trying to work out.
Any help appreciated.

Joveski,

Thanks for the chance to revisit "If I Could". It's a beautiful song, the kind that only Gord could write. I had not listened to it for a number of years. Guess that's because I only have it on LP. I don't hear a bass riff exactly. Maybe my old scratchy record is missing something. It's sounds to me like just D A/C# E chords at the end of each phrase. The A/C# being played

It works for me.
