you may not have seen this one yet? not sure what you've seen and what you haven't.

Most excellent! I hadn't seen the backstage picture before. Great sketch, if I could draw like that, hmmm. Do you still do drawings? This was done right after the cheek to cheek?

Thanks Lauren

You know girl, I can't remember if I did it before or after. Odd, huh? Time's a tricky thing for me. Got a memory shot full of bullet holes, really. Things get lost sometimes. I'll put a few more backstage pics up for you. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif

ps. hard to find the time to draw...I'm not much of a natural (I'm a poet not an artist). It took a long time to draw that. I have to have a lot of spare time to hit that right brain mode that lets me do those kind of things. Single parenting doesn't allow for it much.

Laurel,are you sure your're not an art prodigy? I couldn't even begin to draw that well! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/eek.gif If i were a teacher I'd give you a grade of 99% acurate. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif Well...maybe 100 http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

Cool pics as well,I bet it makes you wish he was still at that age, right? http://www.corfid.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Cooler than any rock star,in my opinion but as far as what you ladies find attractive,I just don't see it. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif Been me. Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

pick up a guitar and write a song or two or three...we're a sucker for a poet. Don't ask me why...you'd think we'd know better...

My sister is the artist. Her pencil or paintbrush flies over the canvas (whatever that may be at the time) with amazing confidence. Mine does not. Not at all. But she can't string words together like I can. Everyone has their thing.. you just gotta find it...

Tyler 08-12-2004 10:56 PM

Now if the artist and the poet(who obviously is also an artist)got together they could do a sequel to the Pony Man, or something like it.

ha! I don't know how much we'd agree on what to do, lol. She's finally given up on understanding me (as have the rest of the family) and is just into accepting now.. thank God. it's wearying to constantly try to explain one's self or motivations ...We're much closer than we ever have been before, but I don't know about collaberation! But thanks for the kind thoughts!

LSH,

You could make money off skill like that. "If old Gord could see this now, I know he'd be so proud".

thank guys. yeah, I don't know why I didn't attempt that "simple" shirt pattern...if I was a real artist, I'd know how to fake it!

jj, the first thing I thought when I say that backstage pic was, "Why don't you get a pair of boots that fit boy??"
