John - I have the same problem with all the pictures all over this web site. Everyone except us must have high speed internet. Can you find a way to make a site where the pictures can be posted and then post a link for it? |

I have recently mentioned a peddler of unauthorised GL CDs based in the UK going by the screenname/alias "buzzfledder"
indeed on the earlier ebay item topic at:- http://www.corfid.com/ubb/ultimatebb...c;f=1;t=003666 I said as recently as May the 2nd that:- "The arch bootlegger in the UK,who this time around is calling himself "buzzfledder", has put up for Ebay (UK) auction the first time that I am aware of a CD of THE FOLKFEST BENEFIT, NEW YORK, 1987 http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot-Folkfest-Benefit-NY-1987-CD_W0QQitemZ4874244834QQcategoryZ58588QQrdZ1QQcmdZ ViewItem" and I displayed his plain CD insert artwork (no longer linkable it seems). I had long suspected that another of his aliases was "myskies" claiming to be from the entirely fictitious UK village of "Royston Vasey" and sure enough another 1987 folkfest auction this time by "myskies" has appeared at:- http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot...QQcmdZViewItem http://i24.ebayimg.com/05/i/07/3e/f1/6e_1_b.JPG I just checked "seller's other items" and found he/she has just one more auction ending at virtually the same time:- the 1974 Massey Bootleg at:- http://cgi.ebay.com/Gordon-Lightfoot...QQcmdZViewItem http://i14.ebayimg.com/01/i/07/39/b1/66_1_b.JPG I think I know the current high bidder quite well!! I guess buzzfledder/myskies is getting scared of being apprehended as both auctions have only just begun yet they both end today which is IMHO mighty suspicious. even odder/ suspicious is the fact that both auctions are listed on both http://www.ebay.com and http://www.ebay,.co.uk. but the starting dates for both auctions are shown as May 24 on the .com listing and May 25 on the otherwise identical .co.uk listing (however both have the similar "end times" at this moment:- End time: 10 hours 19 mins (May-25-06 18:40:54 PDT) I very much doubt if this person ever bothers to read corfid despite his/her obvious predeliction for GL.If I am wrong perhaps he/she could respond here as it strikes me that he/she could make even more money by cutting out the "middleman" (ebay) and offer his/her wares directly to the fans here .
