1. It is a country song.

2. It was out around the 80s (or so.)

3. Here is what the song is about:

The telephone rings and a little girl answers Hello. A man on the line asks to speak with her mom. Girl replies mom is in the shower and can't come to the phone, so man starts asking little girl questions: Were you born in St. Tropez; are you five years old? Little girl replies, "how did you know?" Man asks again please get your mom to phone. Girl says she won't come. With that the man starts to cry. Girl says please don't cry.

4. From the conversation the man is possibly the little girl's Dad.

5. Last line of the song is sorry she has gone.

any help would be greatly appreciated!!
