Yahoo chat rooms have apparently succumbed to the vagaries of that organisation's
incompetence (is the best word I can think of) the Tuesday evening Chat sessions there have been deactivated. In general the alternative the original rik's room works fine, although from time to time some chatters are having a problem getting in most recently "guitarman" Peter see one hint below. We had a welcome total attendance last Friday of 8 Lightheads plus fleeting visits by two unknowns "Yale" and "Yulia" possibly interlopers trying to get into the Christmas (Yule) spirit.Details of getting in and mIRC are as before for tonight's 9.00pm EST session

Just have a question about the chat room. (Being VERY computer challanged) would it be wise to install firewalls, etc., etc.???? I need all the advice I can get. Last night I know that people in the room knew my ISP, etc. Is this dangerous? Don't get me wrong, I'm not suspecting anyone else of anything.
