Fordham University's public radio station, WFUV, is presenting 2 programs in November in Gord's honor.

On Sunday November 16, The City Folk Sunday Breakfast program (8 am - 11 am) is featuring the music of Gordon Lightfoot, as well as special guest Ina May Wool. From past experience I'd say there'll be some songs by Gord early in the show, and some sprinkled later throughout the morning.

On Monday November 17 at 12 noon, "Under the Covers" is "a salute to the legendary Canadian singer songwriter Gordon Lightfoot on his 65th birthday." These are usually cover versions of the artist's songs - maybe selections from the "Beautiful" CD?? I don't know if this is a one or two hour show.

WFUV has live streaming. They're at WFUV.org

Thanks Annie! I'll access and listen. In fact, I think I'll let them know about the Draft Gord for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame movement and maybe we can get a mention and generate some activity. The official "Say Yes to Gord" website should be up and online by then. We are going to start something here folks and create a groundswell of support that the Hall simply can not ignore!
