Go to Pollstar http://pollstar.com today and take a look at the top news headline as of right now.
In days that follow, you can still read the story, but seeing it on the home page is certainly a refreshing sight. All of Lightfoot's dates finally appeared on Pollstar yesterday. If the headlines have changed, the page is here: http://pollstar.com/news/viewnews.pl?NewsID=6870 [ April 29, 2006, 10:16: Message edited by: vlmagee ] |

" He'll head west in late August, with gigs in Washington, Oregon and California. After covering the Great Lakes region in September, he'll play all over Canada through October and November"
OK I am going to reply to this although Susan might well shoot me, Yesterday evening we went to a superb first of the season concert in New Brunswick NJ by the reunited Peter Paul and Mary. The program issued was a limited "spring" one and the management had thoughtfully included a half page flyer to publicise Gord's August 3rd concert at the same venue (the State Theater). Unfortunately they used text presumably from a Canadian publication which read in part:- "For the first time in seven years. Canada's cultural icon embarks on a nationide tour" Obviously the wrong nation!!! John Fowles |
