Paperback Hero has If You Could Read My Mind in the soundtrack. I'm not quite sure why, as I can think of many other movies where that song would be a better fit.

The movie itself is pretty terrible. In fact, I think I'm being generous!

Watchman...have you seen Gordy on the now-defunct tv show called "Hotel"?
Apparently, he portrayed a has-been alchoholic singer struggling to make a comeback (or something to that effect)...unfortunately, I missed that episode....bummer!
