he's performed it through the years quite a few times. it was done in december 75 at dylan's rollin thunder review (acoustic format) and was done right up to 2002. there are live versions floating around on bootlegs

That Rolling Thunder Review set looks like a winner. After doing some research I found that he played that Watchman's Gone a lot during the Sundown era but backed off until 1998. Do you know were I can find a boot of the Rolling Thunder set? It's an audience recording but understand is a high-octane version. My email is whitley@numail.com if you care to contact me.
