Tut tut B you have obviously overlooked or even forgotten my reply (as recently as January 29th 2005) on the subject of Yahoo groups at:- http://www.corfid.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002939.html
where after listing a number of Yahoo Lightfoot groups I concluded
"Note that in order to join any of the above one must (painlessly) create a Yahoo identity
then reenter the ID and password every time you want to visit Yahoo groups which is a pain in the you know where
Note that you can select from only reading messages by visiting the group to receiving each message by email or (recommended) receiving a consolidated daily digest
HTH Hope That Helps"
So be a good boy B and trot along to:- http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group...htfootfanclub/
Note the "new user sign up link" (to get your Yahoo ID)(which also functions if you need to buy anything online from one of the stores that operate under the Yahoo shopping umbrella by the way). Then once you have your ID you can proceed to click the pretty "Join this group" blue button. You should also see the facts that this particular group was started by "Dave Sims in Kansas City, Missouri" in September 1998 and now boasts 257 members.
And as it is one of the groups with
"Open membership" and
"Messages do not require approval"
approval to join is a formality only
