In case anyone was not on the cc: list.
November 18, 2004 I was talking to my sister tonight, who lives in Hamilton, and she said the whole city is shocked because the Howard Johnson's Royal Connaught Hotel just suddenly closed its doors, with no warning. Guests who were staying in the hotel were told to leave. So if anyone has reservations for that hotel, you'd better check that you actually have a room now. The other hotels that are nearby are the Sheraton and the Ramada, and those are still okay. Just wanted to let everyone know. If you know someone who's not on this "to" list, and you know they had reservations at the Connaught, please pass on this message to them. Lynne A message from Lynne Ackerman in Toronto (or, as we like to call it, "Hollywood North"). Via e-mail: lynnea212@aol.com |
