I WOULD like to wish Gordon Lightfoot a very Happy 64th Birthday today. All of his fans around the world, including the "Net People" as he calls us, realize just what a special birthday this is. We wish him renewed health and recovery from his illness. His music has been a part of the fabric of this country and my life in ways that are hard to put into words. His majestic lyrics of our country, the people, of love lost and love found and words about the human condition, along with his beautiful music and voice, are a national treasure for which I am thankful daily. We hope the support of his family, his musical family and his fans will help his health improve and that a safe return home will soon be a reality. If he should grace a stage once again we will be there - we will "Tag Along." Happy Birthday and good health dear Gordon!
