For everyone who loves the Keswick and you really all should give it a try at least once in your life...tickets are on-sale for April 27, 2007.
I know a ton of you reading this have been there at least once. So let's all plan a 'meeting', casual dress - and we can meet at the front door, LOL. I won't list names but you know who you are, LOL. Bill :) P. S. I'll be in row CC (on the left) |

Thanks, Bill, that's great! I was hoping that Gord wasn't boycotting the Keswick for some reason. See you there!

It's always a pleasure for us to see you & your brother. It's nice to know some other fans who still treat him like a performer and aren't afraid to holler back at him, LOL.
Bill :) And I'll always associate you guys with my first chance to meet and speak and get my picture taken with THE MAN ! (politely aggressive eh ?) |
I'd love to get back to the Keswick - what a fabulous place.
It's one of the few places other than Massey Hall that I've seen Lightfoot perform....it was a bit unsettling at first! lol If I come into some lottery winnings I'll be there for sure! ;) |

Same with me as Charlene, BillW. If I could win a major jack pot. I would probably buy a Winnebago, and follow every Lightfoot concert that he would do. It would be a plus. By getting to see every city that he would play. :) :D ;)

See you there, Billw! Something to look forward to, about the same seats as a few years back. Very nice indeed ! Bill :) Soon we'll have enough pictures in front of the Keswick for a collage, LOL [ June 17, 2006, 08:38: Message edited by: BILLW ] |
I received the tickets in the mail this morning, so it's official.
You're right about the collage, Bill. This time we'll be sure to pose BEFORE the show, so the name on the marquee is correct! |

Yeah mine are sitting in the closet already too. They'll start to fade before we can use them but I like to show my support by buying tickets as early as they go on sale. Gotta let him know we're out here. Now if he'd only release a new CD !!!

I have just read an interesting comment on this page:-
http://www.flynntix.org/tickets/rese...ceNumber=2230& which is on the site of the venue for one of Gord's concerts we will be attending in a couple of months woohoo!! "Having fully recovered from a life threatening illness in 2002, he has triumphantly returned to the stage, performing for delighted audiences around the world." It must be a pretty small world at least as viewed from Vermont! Any comments from England,Ireland, Wales, Italy and the great red southland?? John and whilst talking of places outside of the US anybody fancy their chances at winning a free songbook see:- http://www.art-offer.com/rd_p?p=1041...on%20lightfoot Just one major problem though you'll need a zipcode to enter So please ignore this residents of the countries and/or colonies I mentioned above [ June 23, 2006, 12:11: Message edited by: johnfowles ] |
