"Make Way For The Lady" and "No Mistake About It". Lady can be part 1 and Mistake can be part 2. They both have a great light jazz groove too. Later. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif

In My Fashion is probably my least favorite Gord song. That "rap" in the middle ruins it.

The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Band in their first incarnation at the Caffe Lena,Saratoga Springs NY on 22 March 2002 superbly segued a medley of "Farewell To Annabel" and "Race Among The Ruins ------------------ My Gordon Lightfoot webring starts at http://www.johnfowles.org.uk/lightfoot [This message has been edited by johnfowles (edited July 24, 2004).] |

I like that "rap" part in the middle. Although, to be perfectly honest, I never thought of it as a "rap". To each his own.
There's something for everyone. John, interesting combination of songs. I'm curious, at what point in the song did they segue from Farewell to Annabel into Race among the ruins? |
For Lovin' Me / Did She Mention My Name
I love those two songs together! ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
In my own opinion Douglas M.,I prefer to put Mountains and Mary Ann with Wherefore and Why. They sound perfect together! So much so it could all be one song. http://www.corfid.com/ubb/wink.gif Later! http://www.corfid.com/ubb/cool.gif

I like "In My Fashion" I think the spoken words in the break (never thought of it as rap) gives the song a certain honesty.

Drink Yer Glasses Empty / Forgive Me Lord
Listen to those two songs together and tell me that it doesn't sound great. I think they were made for each other! http://www.smilieland.com/graphics4/love.gif ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
Inspiration Lady / Flyin' Blind
Well they start out similar but I'm not sure on this one! I think it's the acoustic guitar. ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
Station Master / Keepin' On Yearnin'
Both are kinda rockin' tunes. Could be a match I guess... ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
Old Dan's Records / Bend In The Water
Well I guess this could work... ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
Ecstacy Made Easy / Lifeline
Well there's a match! I think Lifeline may be a cut from EOM... ------------------ "The station is for travelers even you must ride someday" |
On a roll,huh?
