I don't think Mike owns any Lightfoot recordings John. Or if he does...he prefers others to do the research and read the accompanying literature for the answers to his questions. I still stand by my original idea in his last request for Lightfoot minutia that he is writing a book. This is how Maynard Collins got alot of his material for his less than complimentary book on Gord.

I (possibly mistakenly) took your request at face value and as I had first hand knowledge of the most likely answer to this interesting question decided to reply at length as much for the benefit of others here as to answer your simple question. Hey, it is just a common assumption that fans of Gord would have the Songbook, it is almost a Gord Bible. Some aren't going to be able to afford it but they usually have at least some of his music. There isn't anything weird or strange of what you ask. You just get demanding sometimes. Everybody helps everybody, Annie and Violet are the internet searching gurus, but we also try to find out for ourselves too. No worries. |

Mike, SONGBOOK is not an "any" it is a boxed set of CDs. Your questions sometimes are legit but if the answer doesn't please you, you often sound downright rude in your followup. If that is your intent you are doing great. If not you should mellow your replies. This is a mellow place but we don't take a lot of nonsense for too long. Perhaps you are unaware of how you often sound ? Lighten up, this is supposed to be fun.
