i remember hearing Baby Step Back once in 82 and untill i discovered these GL sites i'd forgotten about it and as mentioned in a previous post, it did sound a little bit like Sundown. i wonder if BSB was perhaps recorded around the time he was recording Sundown and just not released till years later simply because they sound similer? there's a track off the Guess Who's 1970 American Woman LP can't remember what it's called but i heard it this weekend and the DJ said it was recorded 2 years earlier. Smokey Robinson's Tears of a Clown was also recorded in 1968 2 years before it was officially released. don't know the reasons behind those songs being held back and i

I love "Baby Step Back"... Love the groove - kind of bluesy. Sometimes it's seems more of a contest than a relationship.
