Any Eagles Fans here?
 

Timothy B. Schmit, longtime bass player and vocalist with the Eagles (and before that POCO) is on a solo tour. He will be appearing at http://www.keswicktheatre.com/ on Thursday May 31st.

With these folks you never can tell who'll be sitting in. I'm just sayin'...

Yes, I was a fan of the Eagles back in the early 1980's, they were a required listening feature in the desert camping trips we did at that time. I think they're Phoenix based, right? Later on, they split up, and I really like Henley's Boys of Summer.

Yep! :) Been listening to The Eagles since I was 8.& 1/2. My oldest brother had the album Hotel California. I didn;t get their albums until the late 1980s & early 1990s. (Have all I need now,including the 1994 "h*** Freezes Over" album.


Living in San Diego California back in Jan. 1977 to June 1980 (then Phoenix ),The Eagles "Hotel California had just come out mere weeks before in late 1976. Pretty much everyone had that album and then "The Long Run" & then 'live' album.

(The song was #1 , 35 years ago this month (May 1st through the 7th). In fact all five of the Eagles #1 hits spent only a week at the top of the Hot 100:

Alrighty then Rick and B, thanks for posting. I'll give a shout out to Tim tonight! Why on earth they schedule these things on nights before I have to work I'll never know. Or maybe it's my fault for buying the tickets? I hear his show includes a few Poco and Eagles tunes mixed in with his solo work. It's been about 41 years since I saw him when he played with Poco... oh well better late than never!
