I have googled this news but cannot find any official report of this alleged momentous event and mediamass have obviously completely invented their claimed

Of course I read and inwardly digested the church's allegations
and of course I realized (since when silly spellchecker is realized spelt with a zed (zee)??)that mediamass is basically rather enjoyable speculative horse droppings
but the point is that surely that if a national icon such as Gordon really has remarried it merits full reporting by the mass media CBC the Star etc.
How do you know that the Church was not itself flying a very holy hole-y kite?
I maintain that if it indeed really took place (and hope it did) there is presumably a church registry record that somebody who is used to "investigative" activities can verify either at the church or online.

unless Lightfoot made it a point to notify the press there'd really not be much interest in the fact that he re-married except for a small blurb in one of those little side notes in the paper...
and there hasn't been so the church announcement is what I'm going by...
Really John - do you think a church is going to put out false info like that about one of it's most well known congregants? We have privacy laws in this country...
I'll see the newlyweds this saturday and sunday...

it's too freaking cold for me too! lol.. extreme cold alerts are happening! ugh. But once inside Hugh's it's warm and toasty and the music is sublime.These shows have been starting my new year off since 2003! hard to believe this is the 13th set of shows... man oh man...

she's not younger than any of them.
Fred is 51 this year and Ingrid is 50 this year..
Kim is 54 I believe..

she's 22 years younger .. that's a substantial difference... but the previous marriage had a similar age difference. He was younger by a few years than his first wife Brita..

Thanks-I'd forgotten to use my calculator! Seriously though, I meant that it's nice to see he married a mature woman who's seen a bit of life ( I would assume) and not a twenty-something swimsuit model.

It's nice to see them both so happy. I think it has been a good year for them with her touring with him. I met her finally, and sat next to her during a concert. Everyone who has met her has said great things about her. She is such a sweet girl with genuine compassion for people. They both got a prize and I hope they stay happy forever. Congratulations on their 1st year.
