Really glad you enjoyed this one Annie ! It is indeed a good one, but thanks should really be given to Tom for the video and of course Gord for writting and singing it so well with that great 70's voice. :)

This really is such a beautiful song...such a wonderful melody and he sings with such emotion:)
He is such a gifted songwriter that he takes my breath away sometimes...amazing:)

'Same Old Loverman' is another great one from "Summer Side Of Life." Wait till you hear "Love & Maple Syrup" done by Gord, again from "SSOL" But then again maybe you wont like it ??? Your starting to sound 'Canadian' Nightingale ! :biggrin: :)

Those are some nice images of Gordon. He really is a beautiful man, inside and out:)
I like this song a lot. It says so much about his life. He must have had his days when he wondered if it was all worth it.

Love and Maple Syrup...I bet I will like it. I can't say there are many Lightfoot songs that I don't like:)
Of course, I haven't heard Canary Yellow Canoe yet either...lol

This one I have been waiting for a long time, what a great song. And Tom's Production has once again made an awesome video to accompany this GEM of a classic.

The one song that got me in to Gordon Lightfoot's music back in 1969 when I first heard it...
