I’m a street worker everyone. It’s not as bad as everyone might think. Oh, sure. We get out there and work hard on some days. On some days, we put asphalt in potholes and smooth it out, and other days we might saw limbs that get in the way in alleys, but on other days, we just ride around and make sure the storm drains don’t have any straw or dirt in them (after it’s been raining) and pretty much shoot the breeze.

I am a home daycare provider for toddlers from 1 year to 4. I have 3 children I look after at the moment. Two boys who are 2 1/2 and a girl who is 16 months old.
I also have my own 17 year old daughter and 21 year old son at home.

Used to be a legal secretary for 28+ years, now a stay-at-home mom of three kids: 12, 10, and 5. Am currently a "volunteer extraordinaire" in the PTA and booster club.

I teach Spanish and am chair of our languages department at a small women's college.

I own, operate, and adore a tiny vintage boutique in a historic 1895 limestone building. I'm also a stained glass artist. But best of all, I'm mom to 3 great teenage boys. :)

I'm a high school teacher. I'm also father to 5 children (11, 9, 9, 4, 6 months). This may explain why I sometimes have trouble getting to the computer and posting the next showdown. :confused:

I'm the Maytag Man! All brands of appliances really. I just figured you'd all "get it" if I introduced myself as he. I reside in the beautiful town of Grass Valley California where real estate is WAY overpriced!

I am "THE BOSS" at a place called Video Monitoring Services in Presque Isle, Maine. My department watches TV commercials from markets all across the USA and writes brief descriptions of qualifying. Then we do a digital recording of the ad and transfer it to a server in the NY office so our clients can download and watch competitors ads.
The court system uses our work, too. Believe it or not, there are laws that say you can't air similar ads withing 7.5 minutes of one another. The court system also uses our news transcripts.

I am a photo editor, photo researcher, photo teacher, Photoshop guru and every so often, I'll take a shot or two.

I started in photojournalism, worked TV, wire service and newspapers. Now, I work in the communications department for a large manufacturer. I've taught photography in college, both credit and fun stuff courses.

Don't shoot much now. I juggle photos more often.

I am a Communicable Disease Investigator -- investigate things like the 2003 SARS outbreak and the Legionella outbreak in Toronto.

Interesting - sometimes ... tiring - all of the time! Never a dull moment when you work for a city with 2.4 million people.

I am a casemanager/outreach worker. It's like a social worker who drives around a lot!! Great way to meet many interesting people and be creative at the same time.

Proves that us Lightfoot fans have an eclectic and extensive knowledge base. I agree Al but the IFBB is cracking down on the belly/gut issue and the top guys in this years Mr. Olympia are getting the message, although more work is needed.

Yes I did know another Valerie Winslow in Worcester, MA. She is a professional street walker and gets arrested quite often. she must be in jail now because I haven't seen her name lately and no one has called me because they read "my name" in the paper!
That being said, I am QUITE SURPRISED that there is another me in Aroostik County. My dad is from Mapleton, outside of Presque Isle. He actually lives there now. My mom is from the area, as well. She was a Dean. I am surprised that none of my relatives or dad's relatives have not run into the "other" Valerie Winslow but I will have to tell my dad about her. I am 51 so I probably preceed her. At any rate, it is fun to know that I can be in more than one place at the same time. Thanks for the info, Cathy.
