Got the info from Ticketmaster.ca. I was surprised too, since it is not referred to on other Gord sites.

Cool, I'll have to call the Theatre and ask them what's up with their notifier. Thanks again.

FYI - tickets are on sale through the box office as of today 215-572-7650. The first 6 rows are held for "members" for about 10 days. I'm not a member and I didn't want to wait and see so I bought 7th row center aisle seats. Hope to see some of you there. Buying tickets for an old man 8 months in advance ??? I must be one of those Lightfoot cult members you read about. (kiss off eh?)

Minstrel Man 12-20-2004 03:15 PM

Nice job Bill. Sounds like you got great seats. Now you just have to wait...for a long time!! Was it the box office attendant who said you were a cult member?

MM

charlene 12-20-2004 04:21 PM

Hey Bill - you've got lots of time to "tart" yourself up!
lol

No, he just thought I was persistent as I called "more than once" since your original post but they were REALLY nice and kind. I was just pulling the leg of whoever it was recently who said all we did here was kiss up to the great GL. All in fun but I actually have NO complaints and I was joking calling him old. I'm 51 and 1/2 myself.

The "members" thing is fairly new at the Keswick - when I called for tickets for the 2002 show they sold me front row as Cathy and Val will attest to, LOL.

Yer right, now the wait but I hope to squeeze in a few shows bfore that. He's scheduling like he really wants to play.

Thanks,
Bill http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well I have the time but the ability is questionable, LOL. At least I'll have time to get my "pineapple shirt" dry cleaned. Oh and maybe get my hair done up.

Hi Bill,
I got center row FF seats. August is a long time to wait, but jbt and I both have August birthdays, so it will be a great birthday present for us.
I haven't posted in a while, but I check in from time to time. Hope you're doing well.

hey fl,

from my lip's to God's ears. I was just telling bjb, of this forum, about the night I met you and jbt, honestly. And when I went searching for the program to get the number of the box office the pictures fell out. You, jbt, my wife, Gord, the whole bit. I'm going to finally put them in an album. That's great news, as soon as I see my tickets I'll post the location. Tell your brother I said hello and I'll bake a cake and bring it with us, LOL.

billw,
just about any kind actually, but perhaps a tasty beverage from the theater's generous bar would be easier...ha ha!

Let me ponder this one for awhile, LOL. BTW, I think I heard someone in Hamilton saying that people were tripping back & forth to the bar making quite a racket the last time he played the Keswick, so we'll have to go before the start or at intermission. Should be fun !

Bill W
Thought I might check with You about the Cheswick since You've been there. We got our tickets(aa10 and aa12 both right).I was just wondering if the right side is even #s and the left is odd #s or did they skip a seat betwinxt us??
For anyone that might be going to the 7 springs resort, the tickets are not available yet(april?)but if anyone is interested in a room (151.$) for that night, there's only 30 left as of yesterday(12/28).They all have 2 queen beds,so we will have a place in case anyone needs to bunk for the night..but I must give advance warning...Gloria(that'd be my wife)tends to get a bit on the frisky side after seeing Gordon, enter at your own risk..
We are thinking of going to the Wolftrap show too. Might as well make it a Summertime GL Trilogy.I looked the place up and it looks like a good time!! Being that it is outdoors,do they usually do the show in the daytime hours??We've never been to an outdoor Gordon event, so any info would be appreciated.I know the sun will be shining for this event, but what do they do if the weather is bad for other shows???
I could'nt find anything on the Wolftrap site concerning the Gord concert..Anyone know anything??
Brian&Gloria

Brian,
At the Keswick, as best I can recall, the first three rows are moveable chairs (AAA-CCC) The first row of fixed seats (AA) is a shorter row and does not have the aisle in the middle, which explains your seat numbers. I think you're cool.
As far as WolfTrap goes Elizabeth tells us that they are going on sale in February. Stay tuned.

BILLW 12-30-2004 08:16 PM

Iron,

Now that I'm back home my original answer looks pretty suspect, LOL. I'd just call the box office and ask. Don't trust my memory !

Iron 12-31-2004 05:34 PM

It was the thought that counted,Bill. After pondering the situation,I figured that if someone is between us,after about 10 minutes of having two heads leaning in front of em,He or She will ask one of us to switch seats.
Thanks,Iron

ELizabeth 01-01-2005 05:24 PM

Iron,
I guess you could say that Wolf Trap has performances during daylight hours since performances usually start between 7:30- 8:00 pm. The lawn can be great but if there is rain or it is in any way wet it is awful. However it is much cheaper than the Filene Center. More questions? Glad to answer.

Found out today from the Cheswick that the seats on the right side of AA are even, and the left are odd. So it looks like there will be no unfortunite sole with two heads blocking his/her view. Can't Wait...
