Here is a source of photos by Art Usherson. These aren't cheap, as I recall, but there are some wonderful historical shots here:

Thanks Mr. JohnFowles!
I didn't know how to get it to paste on screen... It is a memorable pic isn't it?

Whilst that is is a great picture site Val for those with deep pockets it is utterly useless for the purposes of this topic as the pics are subject to copyright restrictions so that as well as the text scrawled all over them it is also impossible as far as I can tell to establish a pic's URL which is essential in order to display it here. Oh well

At that price I can't believe he'd have many takers.

John, I had that link from a couple of years ago. While the pictures were not cheap, they were not $100,000. I think it is safe to assume that the "online store" that is selling those pictures has a small glitch. I think the pictures went for $35 or so for a 4x6, and a bit more for an 8x10. But they were certainly something to consider if one wanted a picture to frame - but pricy if one wanted all of them. (I have deleted my rant; I got out of the wrong side of the bed. John, I apologize).

Val - those were fabulous pics! I've seen some of them but it was great seeing Liona Boyd, Murray McLachlan, Ronnie Hawkins, Levon Helm, the first two Lightfoot kids, etc.
what a great vantage point that photographer had!
thanks forthe link!
I'll be going back again and again...

ugh, how frustrating that text scrawl is... can't even download so have to resort to screen capture of zoomed image, trim then save... so tedious and time-consuming in order to try get these posted to this really cool visual thread, not handy for lazy folk like such as i http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

char, Gordon looks like he's on alot of sleep in that wide-eyed pic, eh ...odd that you make no mention of Krustofferson, lol ...actually i dig the pic of him holding a cool (or perhaps disgustingly warm) 50 ...hey, with that said i think i'm starting to appreciate him!

check out the Hawk's gallery, now there's another big hit with the ladies...remember he was all ribbin' over Laurie Brown at the Family Farm gig, lol ..good health to him http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

if anyone forks out the big$s (i hope he accepts Canadian Tire dollars!) and buys 'em seems only fair that Florian and/or Valerie should get a %commish, never would have linked myself to that site otherwise ...don't know how the internet works in that way but thank you to all who've posted pics here + these url's and thanks for those pic posting tips too, John http://www.corfid.com/ubb/smile.gif

wish Art would list names of who's in the pics, otherwise would make for a good separate thread of pic trivia, some really tough ones in there... Gordon has such character coming across in every one of them

That was a great concert. I saw some of it on PBS. Too bad they didn't play all of it!
