"Anyone inside know my name?"
I've been around for a half a hundred days SONG: "IS THERE ANYONE HOME." Next Lyric: I'll meet you where cathedral bells ring out across the square. GOOD LUCK!! THIS ONE MAY BE A TOUGHY? [ June 16, 2006, 18:20: Message edited by: Jessi -Joe ] |

WE will see if someone gets it or not? Over the week-end, I will post the answer on Monday if no one gets it. But the week-end is maybe poor timing, has people will have better things to do than play Lyrics...

Very good John, it was indeed "A message to the wind".

Let's try a different tack. Lots of Gord's lyrics repeat a line in different stanzas, but a word, or phrase, is different on the repeat.
This one should be easy, but it illustrates the idea. "Gather not your gold on Earth..." What's the line, the first time and what is it the second time? What song? I'm not sure I can remember all the times his lyrics do this. Might be fun. |
Song: Apology,
Gather not your gold on earth, it will not pass inspection. it will not pass inspection. Same lines both times. Am I right or do you mean further in the song? {1}But I chose to live instead, inside the shell they gave me. {2}Still I think when Im alone away from all night splendor. Nope JJ,
The first time the line is: Your kingdom is in heaven. |
New 12 String Mike, you are correct. But I was reading the song from the Wayne Francis Website, and it's his mistake. I went to my Sunday Concert CD, and it is the 2 lines you wrote.
Sorry about that, but it is the Wayne Francis site that has it wrong. There's a lot of mistakes there that I found, since playing these games. CHEERS...JJ. :) ;) |

Good ideal Mike, this could be fun, as you said.
